Q1) In what ways
does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real
media products?
Q2) How effective is the combinations of your ancillary and main
texts?
Q3) What did you learn from audience
feedback?
Q4) How did you use media technologies in construction and research, planning and evaluating?
Conclusion:
From using a variety of different technologies I
learnt a variety of different skills, on top of what I was already aware of.
For example, even though I used Final-Cut in my thriller opening by doing a
music video I still learnt other skills such as colour adjustment of shots,
which was used to make Lauren’s eyes look bluer than they are. I already knew
that I would have to become reliant on some technologies even some that I had
never used before. I just tried to use them to the best I could to help input
into a better more professional finished product. A technology that was new to
me was Photoshop, as expected it took a while to get used to but after figuring
it out, I was able to start experimenting with the effects to give a more
polished professional product. On the other hand by using technologies I had
used before I could be more creative and work with them a lot more confidently
and use more elements of their software. For example, we were able to be more
creative with camera shots, angles and movements because the way the camera operated wasn't new to us. Finally by using different technologies I found what works
best for me, for example using slide-share rather than Google docs for the work I was trying to upload it just seemed to present it a lot better.
